Lakisha Burch is a strategic and results-driven municipal government executive with over 30 years of experience in public sector operations. She has a proven record of leading complex governmental functions, driving policy development, and enhancing operational efficiency to deliver high-quality public services to diverse communities. With extensive expertise in budgeting, community engagement, and regulatory compliance, Lakisha is committed to fostering transparency, accountability, and excellence in local government administration.

Serving as the Town Clerk for the Town of Loxahatchee Groves, Lakisha played a pivotal role in municipal governance by overseeing agenda preparation, meeting coordination, election administration, financial reporting, records management, and human resources. Her leadership ensures compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks while improving efficiency and effectiveness in municipal operations. Previously, she held the position of Town Clerk for the Town of Sewall’s Point, where she was instrumental in financial oversight, human resources management, and public records administration.

Lakisha’s dedication to public service is reflected in her academic achievements, including a Master of Science in Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management with dual minors in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She also holds an Associate of Applied Science in Business Management from Palm Beach State College. A recognized leader in her field, she has received numerous accolades, including the 2017 Florida Association of City Clerks Presidents' Award and the prestigious 2022 Florida Association of City Clerks – Clerk of the Year award.

As a Master Municipal Clerk certified by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, Lakisha is deeply committed to professional development and mentorship in municipal administration. She has served in leadership roles such as the Southeast Director for the Florida Association of City Clerks (2018-2020) and President of the Palm Beach County Municipal Clerks Association (2021-2022). Through her expertise, innovation, and unwavering dedication, Lakisha continues to drive excellence in local government operations, ensuring efficiency, integrity, and service to the community.
