Welcome to the City of Clewiston Police Department. We are a dedicated, full-service law enforcement agency with 22 employees, proudly serving our community from 300 South Berner Road. Our mission is simple protect, serve, and enhance the quality of life for our nearly 8,000 residents and all who visit our city. Covering approximately 4.65 square miles, our officers are committed to proactive policing, strong community partnerships, and professional service every day. We operate a 24-hour dispatch center to ensure rapid response and continuous support. Working alongside our City partners, including Animal Services, we strive to keep Clewiston a safe, welcoming, and connected community. We also operate the City's Code Enforcement Division as well as the City's Animal Services Division. We operate a municipal animal shelter which houses and cares for stray cats and dogs, reunites owners with lost pets, and offers new pet adoptions.    

Located in Hendry County, we share common borders with the communities of Harlem and Twin Lakes, creating a total Clewiston area population of more than 15,000 people. The city is located on the shores of Lake Okeechobee and is home to some of the best fishing in the world.
