Randy Maxson is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in financial management, accounting, and business operations. With a strong background in both corporate and entrepreneurial ventures, he has successfully led teams and driven business growth across multiple industries, including hospitality, manufacturing, and finance. His expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and operational management has enabled him to deliver measurable results throughout his career.
As the owner of two Beef O’Brady’s restaurant locations in Clewiston and LaBelle, Florida, from 2007 to 2021, Randy managed all aspects of the business. He was responsible for financial reporting, payroll, leasing negotiations, vendor and customer relationships, and employee management. Despite the challenges of the restaurant industry, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, he successfully operated both locations for over a decade before negotiating a favorable sale.
Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, Randy served as an Accounting Manager at United States Sugar Corporation, where he oversaw financial reporting and budgeting processes for one of the largest sugar producers in the country. He collaborated with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting procedures, optimize financial reporting, and implement internal control policies. His strategic approach to business interruption insurance resulted in significant cost savings for the company.
Randy’s corporate finance experience also includes his tenure as Controller and Contracts Manager at Real-Time Laboratories, LLC, where he managed accounting and contract negotiations for a defense contractor specializing in aircraft and armored vehicle components. He played a critical role in financial planning, contract proposals, and banking negotiations. Earlier in his career, he held the position of Corporate Controller at Unipower Corporation, where he led financial operations and helped navigate the company through economic downturns.
His career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he served as an Audit Senior Associate. In this role, he conducted financial audits and due diligence engagements across multiple industries, including manufacturing, real estate, hospitality, and agriculture. His strong analytical skills and ability to implement the best financial practices set the foundation for his future leadership roles.
Randy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida. He is also a licensed Title Insurance Agent and Real Estate Agent. With a wealth of experience in finance, accounting, and business management, Randy continues to seek new opportunities where he can apply his skills to drive organizational success and financial excellence.
