Clewiston Sugar Festival Draws Near-Record Crowd of 23,000
Clewiston Sugar Festival Draws Near-Record Crowd of 23,000. This year’s Clewiston Sugar Festival brought the community together like never before, attracting an estimated 23,000 attendees—one of the largest crowds in the event’s history and just shy of last year’s record of 25,000. Thank you to the Sugar Festival committee, the Clewiston Police Department, and all first responders for keeping everyone safe, to our community for supporting this tradition, and to every attendee who joined us in celebrating culture, great food, and our local sugar industry. Originally established to mark the end of the sugarcane harvest season, the Clewiston Sugar Festival has grown into one of South Florida’s premier country music and food events while remaining true to its agricultural roots. The City of Clewiston and the festival committee are already preparing for the 2027 event. City of Clewiston, FloridaProudly Serving America’s Sweetest Town
