As the Parks and Recreation and HR Director, she brings a wealth of experience in conducting investigations, handling arbitrations, leading training programs, and streamlining recruitment processes. Her leadership skills and problem-solving abilities have been instrumental in driving positive changes within organizations, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with employment laws and best practices.
Throughout her career, Ashly has successfully led employee and labor relations efforts, negotiated collective bargaining agreements, and reduced contract grievances through effective communication and strategic conflict resolution. During her tenure at United States Sugar Corporation, she played a key role in high-level contract negotiations while overseeing talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development for a large workforce. At Tellus Products, she was instrumental in implementing ADP systems, developing HR policies, and managing full-cycle HR operations in a startup environment, demonstrating her ability to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Ashly’s expertise spans a broad spectrum of HR functions, including performance management, contract negotiations, and talent acquisition through platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter. As a bilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish, she ensures inclusive communication across diverse teams and organizational levels.
