How do I pay a traffic citation?
Traffic citations must be paid in accordance with the instructions on the back of the ticket. Questions regarding the scheduling of a hearing to contest a citation or to attend driver improvement school, shall be made to the Hendry County Clerk’s Office. 

 

What are the hours and cost for public fingerprinting?

Fingerprinting is available at the Clewiston Police Department on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am and from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. 

Please note that cash is the only form of payment accepted. 

For hard copy fingerprint cards, the fees are $5.00 for City residents, $15.00 for Hendry County residents, and $50.00 for all others. Photo I.D. and proof of residency is required.

For Live Scan fingerprints, the fees are between $28.25 - $70.00 for City residents, $38.25 - $80.00 for Hendry County residents, and $78.00 - $120.00 for all others. These fees are dependent upon the Originating Agency Identification (ORI) number associated with your request. There is no additional charge above the actual cost for City of Clewiston residents, there is a $10.00 charge above the cost for Hendry County residents, and there is a $50.00 charge above the cost for any out-of-county resident. Photo I.D. and proof of residency is required.

 

What do I do about speeding vehicles or improperly parked vehicles in my neighborhood?

How do I report noise violations?
Please contact the Clewiston Police Department via the non-emergency telephone number (863) 983-1474 to have an officer respond for assistance in taking appropriate action. 

 

How do I report or recover a lost item?
Please contact the Clewiston Police Department via the non-emergency telephone number (863) 983-1474 to have an officer respond for lost or stolen items.  To recover items possibly held by the department, please contact the Property and Evidence section at (863) 983-1474 during business hours to determine if the property is available for return and to arrange an appointment to retrieve the item(s).

To make a complaint against a Clewiston Police Department Employee, notify a department supervisor by:
Coming in person to the police station located at 300 South Berner Road, Clewiston, Florida 33440.
Calling the Clewiston Police Department's non-emergency number (863) 983-1474 and requesting a supervisor.
