
Criminal Investigations Section
The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is responsible for death investigations, violent crimes, property crimes, economic crimes, crimes against children, and all follow-up investigative work related to felony crimes and ongoing criminal activity within the City of Clewiston. The division is led by a Commander who manages and provides direction to a detective and a crime scene technician. Our CID unit also completes employee background investigations to ensure we are hiring the best employees possible.
The Clewiston Police Department is proud to be a part of several task forces that target narcotics activity, violent crimes, and many other issues that affect our community and surrounding areas.
